WBIR has also launched a new website devoted to local high school sports. You will find schedules, stats, and scores for area schools, plus stories and videos. You are invited to add to their coverage, by uploading videos and pictures from ORHS games. You can also find out how ORHS is ranked in the Massey ratings, and see how we match up with other teams.

Currently the only daily newspaper in Knoxville, the News-Sentinel began in December 1886 as the evening Sentinel published by John Travis Hearn, a native of Shelbyville, Kentucky. The first four-page edition of the Sentinel was printed on a steam-operated flatbed press in a room above a liquor store. Hearn revolutionized the local distribution of newspapers by selling the papers directly to newsboys, who pocketed all the profits. The first newsboy, Wiley Morgan, stayed with the Sentinel and later became general manager and part-owner of the newspaper. |

Ben Harrison, of www.MyGameFilms.com has recently converted several years of Oak Ridge Football game films to DVD for Coach Blade. He has also collected others from past Oak Ridge opponents; going as far back as the early 1960's. They have put clips of all these games on our website for former players and fans to view free of charge. A DVD copy can also be purchased with 20% of the sales going back to the Oak Ridge Football team. As they become available, the site will be adding more Oak Ridge games in future.
